Hello, I’m Mayor Greg Hansen and I’m running for reelection.
We can all agree that these last few years have been difficult and in spite of all of this, Ferndale – with steady leadership, results-based solutions and planning for the future – we got some big stuff done;
- We started and completed the largest Public Works project in the history of Ferndale, the sewer treatment plant.
- We are completing the Thornton Street Overpass
- We’ve designed Metalworks Skate Park and break ground this year
- We invested hundreds of thousands of federal dollars into our downtown, expanding existing businesses and rebuilding our beloved local businesses
- And so much more.
Success for our community doesn’t happen by accident, that’s why I show up – every day – and do my best on behalf of our community.

I think one of the things I’m most proud of as a Ferndale resident is that people are talking about Ferndale – we are on the cutting edge of a thriving and innovative city. Things are happening in our city that we all can be proud of.
But the work is not done. We need to take big steps on affordable housing, improving our road system, supporting our downtown businesses and ensuring we can provide the services people expect of a modern city.
Return me to City Hall, and I will continue to fight for a Ferndale that can rise to meet the future with a robust infrastructure, fantastic parks, and a thriving downtown.
Steady leadership, results-based solutions instead of partisan bickering, and doing the hard work today to prepare for tomorrow are my guiding principles.

Thank you for your support as we continue to build a brighter future for Ferndale.
-Greg
